  • OECD Internship & Wikiprogress

During my time as a Communication Trainee at the OECD Statistics Directorate in Paris (June 2015 – Dec 2015), I played a key role in modernizing the organization’s digital presence and expanding its social media reach. I assisted with migrating Wikiprogress from Wikipedia to WordPress, which involved copyediting articles, updating links and categories, and obtaining permissions from contributing organizations to add their data to the new platform. I led communication efforts and social media outreach for both Wikiprogress and the Data Viz Competition.

In addition, I helped create and implement a comprehensive social media plan for the OECD 5th World Forum in Guadalajara, Mexico. My work included coining the hashtag #OECD5WF, which trended at the country level in Mexico, and live-tweeting from @OECD_Stat and @wikiprogress throughout the forum.

  • Website Design

While in my role at Auctria, I serve as the customers trusted advisor and conduct Zoom calls during the project lifecycle. These calls range from a discovery call where I learn about the project and event website needs, to training calls where I teach the customer about what they need to know about a successful event.

Here are some example websites I have set up:

  • Chapman & Cutler Brochure

My first role out of graduate school was working for a large law firm in downtown Chicago – Chapman and Cutler. I was initially hired as a Marketing intern and officially hired as a Marketing Assistant after three months. Each intern starts on projects that fit their skills, and I spent the bulk of my time creating, researching, writing, and editing marketing materials for all the firm’s practice areas. The Brochure pictured here is one that I made during my time at Chapman. Working in collaboration with my supervisor and the legal library, I collected information on practice areas and past deals to write the copy. For a PDF download of the document, please click here.

Adobe InDesign is the main platform that I worked with to create this document – I used photoshop to develop the white background effect for the headshots. The marketing department utilized both print and digital marketing material, and this brochure was designed with that in mind.
